The 2011 annual Gower Bluegrass festival will be held on Friday 9th - Sunday 11th of September

GoFest is a three-day Bluegrass festival set in the heart of the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Now in it's sixth year, the event keeps on attracting many bluegrass musicians from the South Wales area and also from further afield across the Severn Bridge.

During this year's 3 day event bluegrass enthusiasts have the opportunity to play in open picking sessions and participate in the instrumental workshops.

Those who prefer to listen & watch the performances can enjoy the afternoon and evening concerts which will feature bands from the Welsh and British Bluegrass Scene.

Headlining this year's line-up are British Bluegrass veterans - The Down County Boys, .The thoroughly entertaining Thunderbridge Bluegrass Boys and the new kids on the scene – Flats & Sharps.
